Professional Cat Care Where They Are Happiest - At Home

Welcome to Cat Care at Home, where your cats gets to stay exactly where they’re most comfortable—surrounded by their own blankets, that favourite windowsill and none of the stresses of a cattery.
While you're off enjoying a well-earned break, we pop in to feed, fuss (if they allow it), clean up after and generally make sure everything is just how they like it.

You'll get daily updates, photos and total peace of mind. They'll get familiar smells, comfy routines and a 'Cat-Carer' who loves them almost as much as you do.
No last-minute checks for up-to-date jabs, no favours owed to neighbours, no worrying about them the entire time you are away. Just calm, reliable, one-to-one care in the place they trust the most—their home.

ABOUT US

Meet Deb – Your Cat’s Temporary 'Cat-Carer' While You’re Away

I’ve lived with cats for over 50 years—and loved every single whiskered, wide-eyed, wonderfully stubborn one of them. I’ve owned too many to name (although I could if you asked!) and for the past five years, I’ve been trusted to care for other people’s cats too—always treating them as if they were my own.
Cat Care at Home was born from a simple idea: that cats are happiest in their own surroundings. No strange surroundings. No stressful car journeys. No catteries that smell of other animals. Just their familiar spaces, regular routines and someone reliable to fuss over them while you’re away.
At home, I share life with my two very vocal Siamese brothers—Mousey and The Wee Man. They rule the roost, are spoilt rotten and have my husband and I exactly where they want us. They demand attention at all hours, make neighbours believe we run a creche full of crying babies (and if you're a 'Siamese Slave you will know exactly what I mean!) but they are also the most adorable characters who I wouldn't be without for the world.

So, if you're looking for someone who genuinely gets cats, respects their quirks and shows up with care, consistency and a clean litter scooper—I’d love to meet you (and them).

CAT SERVICES

I understand that your Cat (or Cats) are completely unique so I'm always happy to go that extra mile to make sure they keep to their usual routine as much as possible.

From fuss to food (and everything in between), I offer a full range of in-home cat care services designed to keep your cat content—and your home in order—while you’re away.

Services include:

Strokes, tickles, chin scratches and (if permitted) the occasional belly rub

Fresh food, biscuits, toys and water

Litter tray cleaning and general tidying

Medication (pills, drops or creams) administered with care

Plant watering and post gathering

Opening/closing blinds and curtains for home security

Plus all the little extras that make cats feel safe and settled.

Every visit is tailored to your cat’s routine and personality—whether they’re shy and independent or total lap-huggers. I've even been known to sit through episodes of Coronation Street alongside 'Massie' as it's her favourite programme and she can't sleep without the theme tune!

Confessions of a Cat Lover

I’ve loved cats longer than I’ve loved most humans. I’ve shared my life, sofa, pillow, and (on more than one occasion) toast with more felines than I can politely list here. Some were aloof, some were clingy and one genuinely thought he was my 'backpack'—but all were treated like royalty.
These days, I channel that lifelong obsession into caring for other people’s cats while they’re away. I speak fluent Meow, know the exact speed to blink at a nervous tabby and understand that belly rubs come with strict boundaries.
And just to prove I take my love of cats to extreme (and international) levels—I once found a four-day-old stray kitten on a side street in Tenerife. She was tiny, black and badly injured. We paid for her emergency vet treatment, (including having her damaged eye removed) and once she was well enough to travel, we arranged for her to fly back to us in the UK. After six months in quarantine, she joined our household and lived a long, glorious and utterly spoilt life until we lost her last summer at the grand old age of sixteen.

Her name was Ailie. She had one eye, shiny fur, endless attitude and seriously thought she was a panther.

I still miss her every day.
